Situations in class:

I have been offered to be a temporary teacher in a secondary school. I teach form 1 students. Now only I now, most of the time being a teacher may not be an easy job.

Situations in class when I am teaching:
1 . I : “ still want to talk izzit? Ok, if u all make any more noise, do all your homework
ten times more!”(whole class will quiet at once but just for few minutes.Sigh=,=’)

2. I : “ok, who want to talk now? I give you a chance. They are so many places in front of the blackboard. Who want to talk please come out and talk. I let you all talk first. After u finish talking then I will continue my lesson. ( I just stand there and keep my mouth shut for a few minutes and they will keep quiet) Any one still want to talk? Nobody right? Continue our lesson..”

3.”HEY!! YOU!! WHY AIN’T YOU SITTING AT YOUR PLACE? GO BACK TO YOUR SEAT! NOW!!!( I wait for a few seconds)” STILL DON’T WANT TO GO BACK IZZIT? OK U STAND IN FRONT THE BLACKBOARD!”

4.”Ok class, do page…exercise…, and oso page…exercise…”(me)
”teacher do which page?”(student A)
” do page…exercise…, and oso page…exercise…”(me)
“har? Which page har?”( student B)
” do page…exercise…, and oso page…exercise…”(me)(get annoyed)
“Teacher, can repeat arh?”(student C)
“…”(me)

5. The students will never stop talking. They talk when u want to teach, they also talk when u stop teaching. In conclusion, they never stop talking. This really drive me to the wall. “Monitor! Bring me your mkt paper(mkt paper is used to record the misbehavior of the students). NOW!” (the class will silence for a few seconds)

6. “Who didn’t bring my book? Stand up! Give me a reason why u didn’t bring! Is it because monitor’s fault for not copying the timetable for u? HUH?”

7. Students : “ Teacher! Are u crazy? Give us so many homework?”
I was so angry that moment whe I heard this, “ Yes! I am crazy, I will give more homework! Open your book now!”

8. That day I was teaching moral, the unit 2, amanah. I say to them that we should have amanah. A student said,” what for having amanah? Can we earn money with amanah?”
(oh my god, nowadays kids really…)

My stories at least is just about how naughty the students are nowadays. But my colleague Z’s situation more worse. Her students(male) are only form 2.
Students: teacher, u say what will happen if we open your cloth’s button one by one?
Z : I will slap you all!(very angry)
Students: Teacher, are u still a virgin?
Students:U know what is a condom?U know how to use it? Neh, like that loh..bla bla बला...

Students nowadays are getting bad. Really1 How often we dare to do that to teachers? Moral in the community is ruining...
